According to the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data market monitoring system, from August 26 to September 1, the average price of coal in Shaanxi Province was 1,229.7 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.2%. Among them, anthracite coal was 1,387.5 yuan/ton, the same as the previous month; coking coal was 1,596.8 yuan/ton, down 0.2% from the previous month. At the end of August, the coke market in Shaanxi was greatly affected by price cuts by steel mills, and the supply side slowed down slightly. However, some steel mills still rushed for goods, and there was some resistance to coke price cuts.
