According to the website of the Ministry of Commerce, on May 25, Shu Jueting, spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, stated at the press conference that on May 12, the Ministers of Trade of China and Australia co-chaired the China-Australia Ministerial Economic Joint Committee in Beijing. They conducted candid, professional and comprehensive exchanges on economic and trade issues of concern to the two countries. At present, China is communicating and consulting with all members in accordance with the CPTPP accession procedures.
