The Guangzhou factory will mainly produce flavors and fragrances, which also means that China’s existing flavor production will gradually be transferred to the new factory area. Croda’s flavors and fragrances business was originally established through the acquisition of Aiboxin in 2020, which has been in the Chinese market for two decades.

In addition, this investment will also help Croda produce active beauty ingredients based on plant extracts in China.
