According to the production data market monitoring data of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, this week (October 2-8), the average price of coal in Shanxi Province was 1,230.2 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%. Among them, the average price of anthracite coal No. 2 is 1,259.33 yuan/ton, down 1.6% from the previous month; the average price of thermal coal with a calorific value of 5,000-5,500 kcal is 683.17 yuan/ton, down 0.7% from the previous month; the average price of coking coal 1/3 coking coal is 1,748.1 yuan/ton , the same as the previous week. Sales of anthracite lump coal in the province are sluggish, and coal companies are under great inventory pressure. Prices of large coal companies in Jincheng area are temporarily stable, and lump coal prices of major coal companies in Yangquan area have been reduced by about 60 yuan/ton. Thermal coal companies in the province are producing normally, and prices are stable with some declines. Some coal companies in Shuozhou have lowered their prices by 8 to 16 yuan/ton, and some coal companies in Xinzhou have lowered their prices by 5 yuan/ton. The clean coal market for coking in the province operates smoothly, with prices at major coal companies and most local coal companies remaining stable. Coal prices are expected to fluctuate slightly in the short term.
