In the 15th week of 2023 the price of thermal coal in Zhejiang Province decreased by 0.1% month-on-month

According to the monitoring system of the important means of production market in Zhejiang Province, this week (April 10-April 16), the price of steam coal in the monitored sample enterprises in Zhejiang Province was 851.35 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.1%. The recent off-season for thermal coal consumption, the pace of downstream destocking is slow, the demand is low, and thermal coal prices have dropped slightly. In the later period, due to the weak downstream demand in the off-season, thermal coal sales will be flat. It is expected that thermal coal prices will be weak and volatile in the short term.
