Myanmar exported approximately 77 000 tons of rubber in the first five months of this fiscal year

According to news on October 31, Myanmar once again set a new rubber export record in the first five months of the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The cumulative export volume of rubber reached 76,594 tons, and the export revenue exceeded US$94 million. It is reported that Myanmar is a major rubber producer, with an annual rubber output of approximately 300,000 tons. Its main export destinations include China, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, India and Japan. These markets continue to drive Myanmar’s Growth in rubber exports.
