Coal market prices in Fujian Province fell within a narrow range in the second week of October

According to the monitoring data of the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data monitoring system, the coal market price of monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province this week (October 9-15, 2023) averaged 1,486.33 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.1%. Among them, the market price of anthracite coal was 1,265.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 0.7%; the bituminous coal market price was 1,597.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month increase of 0.1%. Overall, the coal market prices of the monitored sample enterprises in Fujian Province fell within a narrow range. Coal mines are operating normally and coal supply is stable. After the holiday, downstream users will be cautious and wait and see, mainly purchasing on demand. It is expected that coal market prices in Fujian Province may adjust stably in the future due to changes in supply and demand.
