
In the first three quarters of this year, the scale of my country's photovoltaic market continued to expand, the output of major links in the industrial chain continued to grow, and the photovoltaic industry continued to maintain rapid growth.
In the past two days, on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, my country's highest-altitude photovoltaic project is stepping up construction. The project has adopted new photovoltaic inverters and other equipment for the first time in ultra-high altitude areas, and the photoelectric conversion rate has been greatly improved.
In the first three quarters of this year, my country’s photovoltaic power generation investment was 222.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67.8%. More than half of the country's newly installed power generation capacity comes from photovoltaic power generation capacity.
At present, my country has formed the most complete photovoltaic industry chain in the world. In the first three quarters, the national output of silicon materials, silicon wafers, cells, and modules all increased by more than 70% year-on-year, and the total output value of the photovoltaic industry exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan. Continuing to make breakthroughs in key core technology areas, the independently developed new crystalline silicon-perovskite stacked cell has a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 33.5%, reaching the world's leading level.
The China Electricity Council predicts that with the implementation of renewable energy quota systems such as green power trading and green certificates, my country's photovoltaic industry will continue to develop rapidly. It is expected that by the end of 2023, the installed capacity of grid-connected photovoltaic power generation will reach 560 million kilowatts, accounting for nearly 20% of the total installed capacity.
