According to the Chinese Government website, the State Council recently issued the "Overall Plan for the China (Xinjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The "Plan" mentions that the Xinjiang Free Trade Zone will be supported in undertaking the transfer of advanced equipment manufacturing industries in the central and eastern regions.
The "Plan" proposes to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Relying on the existing petrochemical industry foundation, we will promote chain extension, repair and strengthening. Build a national strategic mineral resource base and a nonferrous metals industry base to increase the on-site conversion ratio of nonferrous metals. Promote the development of bonded mineral blending business in comprehensive bonded zones. Accelerate the development of manufacturing industries such as rail transit equipment, agricultural and animal husbandry machinery, agricultural product processing equipment, textile special equipment, construction and mining machinery and equipment, and accelerate the formation of advanced manufacturing clusters. Support the transfer of advanced equipment manufacturing industries in the central and eastern regions, open up green casting and other equipment manufacturing supporting links, and accelerate the development of new energy auto parts supporting industries.
Expand the general aviation commercial market, promote the construction of relevant infrastructure, vigorously develop the entire general aviation industry chain such as aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, general aviation flight, education and training, and emergency rescue, and create a general aviation industry cluster. Strengthen the safety emergency industry and cultivate a national safety emergency industry demonstration base. Create a characteristic pharmaceutical industry, build a production base for bulk raw materials, and include qualified innovative drugs and proprietary Chinese medicines in the national medical insurance drug catalog and essential drug catalog.
