On the afternoon of July 20th, the signing ceremony of Trina Solar's annual production of 50GW monocrystalline silicon wafer project was held.
In September 2022, the Huai'an base project was successfully signed, which opened the prelude to in-depth cooperation with Huai'an. On April 19, 2023, when the first-phase project was put into operation and the second-phase project started, Trina Solar invested an additional 5 billion yuan to build a new project for the production of a new generation of high-efficiency photovoltaic cells, which will soon start construction. Only three months later, this time, a new 50GW monocrystalline silicon wafer project was signed. This project is the upstream support of the Huai'an base's early cell production project, which further expands the upstream and downstream industrial chains, broadens the business layout, and forms an industrial cluster. After the monocrystalline silicon wafer project is completed and put into production, it is expected to realize an annual output value of about 30 billion yuan and an annual tax payment of about 300 million yuan.
