The export of fresh pupae was 703.42 tons, with a value of 1,207,697 US dollars and an average price of 1,717 US dollars/ton. The export of fresh chrysalis dropped by 500 tons year-on-year, and the price also dropped by 150 US dollars per ton.
The silkworm chrysalis wholesale markets in China are operating normally, and the purchase and sales are normal. The main cocoon producing areas of Guangdong and Guangxi have entered summer harvesting, and the pupae production rate is low and the output has declined. The wholesale price of fresh pupae in the Shandong market is generally 110,000-11,500 yuan/ton for grade AB.
The loading price of fresh pupae in Guangxi and Guangdong factories: about 11,000 yuan/ton for grade A, about 10,500 yuan/ton for grade B, about 9,000 yuan/ton for grade C, and about 8,500 yuan/ton for grade D. The basic loading price of factories in Guangxi is between 9,000-10,500 yuan/ton, and the ex-factory price of silkworm chrysalis in 80% of Guangxi enterprises remains above 10,200 yuan/ton.
Dry and wet pupae: 10,000 yuan/ton for A grade dry and wet pupae with an acid value of 2-4, 9,000 yuan/ton for B grade with an acid value over 5, and 8,500 yuan/ton for B grade with an acid value over 5C.
